Effy Elden is a 23-year-old non-binary person, who works as a consultant software developer for ThoughtWorks in Melbourne. As an avid technologist and a proud trans girl, they passionately pursue activism in the fields of digital privacy and queer rights. Prior to joining ThoughtWorks, Effy worked for the Victorian Greens as Technology Manager, where she worked with party MPs, staff, and campaigners to push issue-based parliamentary campaigns, grow the party base of members and volunteers, and increase the Greens vote and party room through local, state, and federal elections.
