EVENTS AND TRAINING
cancellation TERMS policy

This Events and Training Cancellation Terms Policy (the Policy) sets out the cancellation, refund, substitution, and deferral policies for participants of Australian Progress training and events. The following categories of training programs will list the terms and conditions of cancellations as follows.

Short Training e.g. Organising Essentials, Management Masterclass

  1. Refunds are only offered for exceptional circumstances as long as 14 days’ notice is provided. We can do substitutions within organisations/teams until 24 hours before the training if given the name, email, and access needs of the substituting participant. We will do our best to meet all access needs for substituting participants but we can’t guarantee the provision of support when there is a change at short notice.

  2. If you need to transfer to a later training, this can be arranged as long as a 14 days’ notice is given. Otherwise, a deferral fee may apply; this fee will be 50% of the participant fee. This will also be waived under exceptional circumstances.

Intensive Training e.g. Digital Organising Bootcamp, Marshall Ganz’ Organising Training

  1. Refunds are only offered for exceptional circumstances as long as 14 days’ notice is provided. We can do substitutions within organisations/teams until 72 hours before the training if given the name, email, and access needs of the substituting participant. We will do our best to meet all access needs for substituting participants but we can’t guarantee the provision of support when there is a change at short notice.

  2. We are unable to offer deferrals for intensive programs, as they are run on a limited basis and subject to trainer availability. Withdrawals for non-exceptional circumstances are non-refundable.

Fellowship Programs e.g. Progress Fellowship, Digital Fundraising Fellowship

  1. Refunds are only offered in accordance with the schedule laid out in the participant agreement. Once you have accepted you are liable for the full fee.

  2. We are unable to offer substitutions within organisations/teams within Fellowship programs, as participants are accepted based on their individual application.

  3. Deferrals are only offered for exceptional circumstances.

  4. Payment plans are available for participants in the Fellowship. At least one payment must be completed prior to the program beginning, and the full fee must be paid by the completion of the Fellowship.
