ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, HILLEL

As an entrepreneur in the Jewish community, my speciality is engaging with Jewish young adults to find meaningful ways for them to explore their identity and connect with community. I have been involved professionally for 3 years crafting leadership and training courses, an incubation program for social enterprising, mentoring student leaders, creating educational and cultural festivals and countless events; ranging from performance, infotainment, advocacy, social, festival-based and many more. I have represented on ‘women in religion’ panels, at interfaith conferences, and to the media. My particular passion is creating innovative experiences for groups whom I identify are unserved in my community such as immigrants, early career professionals, and youth with different ability levels. I completed a Bachelor of Media (Communications and Journalism) in 2012 and a Masters of Law, Media and Journalism in 2015.
