POLICY AND ADVOCACY ADVISOR, BLIND FOUNDATION OF NEW ZEALAND

Áine is a campaigner, musician and writer as well as a community organiser with the AccessAlliance, a group of disability organisations calling for an accessibility law at the heart of amore inclusive Aotearoa. Áine is also an intern at Newshub. In the past few years, she has beeninvolved in climate action campaigning with 350 Aotearoa, is an active member of theGreen Party and has contributed in various capacities to blindness advocacy through Blindcitizens NZ. She is a keen flute player of both Classical and Celtic music, enjoy long Skypeswith friends and getting stuck into a good book.
