CAMPAIGNS ASSISTANT, GETUP

Alessandro (Ale) moved up from Canberra six months ago to start working for GetUp. Before that he studied history, philosophy and German at the Australian National University, and did an exchange semester at the University of Wuppertal (Germany). After completing his honours thesis, Ale began a PhD program (also at ANU), examining music and politics, but decided to withdraw his candidature in early 2017. He started working at GetUp in August last year as a campaigns assistant in the Economic Fairness Team, and hasn’t looked back since.
