Amie Kanshlo

LEAD ORGANISER, ISLAMIC COUNCIL OF VICTORIA

Amie started her campaign career in community issues based campaigning on the Save Swinburne Lilydale campaign. Previously, Amie learnt how to organise whilst at Oaktree Australia. After she finished her Arts degree in Sociology, Amie worked for many unions including National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU), Community Public Sector Union (CPSU) and the Finance Sector Union (FSU). Amie has gone on to pursue a career in the non-profit sector with Islamic community organisations and the Labor party during the state election in 2018.
