AMY PEREIRA

Campaigns & Policy Officer, CHOICE

Amy is the Policy and Campaigns Advisor at CHOICE, Australia’s largest consumer advocacy group. In her role, Amy has campaigned for stronger product safety laws, anti-price gouging protections, and called out bad behaviour in the new car and funeral markets. Previously, she worked in various state and federal government agencies as a policy officer, including at NSW Parliament, NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Australian Human Rights Commission, and the Federal Department of Infrastructure. Amy is also an English Literature and Sociology major and feels lucky to put her love of storytelling into use to create social change.
