Dan Buhagiar has worked in the media for nearly 20 years, across radio, television and online. Her career started in community media, where she was part of the successful campaign to gain a full-time licence for Sydney’s FBi. She’s also held positions at SBS, 2SER, Radio National, triple j, UTS, Unions NSW and Double J. After being inspired by a couple of years’ involvement with Get Up, Dan joined The Greens, volunteering on campaigns and in political offices for five years. Last year she left the media to work for NSW Greens MP and Member for Newtown Jenny Leong.
