POLICY COORDINATOR, UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE GRADUATE STUDENT ASSOCIATION

Emily is the Policy Coordinator at the University of Melbourne Graduate Student Association (GSA). She is responsible for managing GSA’s lobbying and campaign efforts both within the University and in public campaigns, as well as developing policy for GSA and supporting GSA student representatives in their activist and advocacy work. She is relatively new to campaign management, beginning mid-2014 after the Abbott government’s first Budget, and is currently working on campaigns for equitable higher education and public transport concessions for graduate students.
