HOLLIE KERWIN

Senior Lawyer, Human Rights Law Centre

Hollie works across the Asylum Seeker and Refugee Rights and the Business and Human Rights teams at the HRLC, advocating for a fair and humane response to forced displacement. Previously, Hollie was a public lawyer and policy officer at Victoria Legal Aid, running asylum seeker litigation in all federal courts, and leading the development of strategic litigation and advocacy including about the NDIS and robodebt. Prior to this, Hollie worked as a government lawyer across the administrative and constitutional law teams of the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office and as Federal Court Associate to the Honourable Justice Kenny. Hollie is also the recipient of numerous awards including Blackburn Medal for Research in Law and the Thomas Richards prize for Administrative Law.
