Community Organiser, Oxfam Australia

Kaz is a Community Organiser for Oxfam Australia and a student in the 'Leadership, Organising and Action' 2020 Program of Harvard University. With roots in the Philippines, Kaz employs an integrated approach to community organizing and activism. She fuses best practices in community care and allyship from her home culture, and insights from mindful self-compassion and nonviolent communication (NVC) praxis to help community groups flourish and empower frontline communities to take action and create change on environmental and social justice issues.
