DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER, CLIMATE COUNCIL

I have worked in digital communications roles for the past eight years, firstly in advertising agencies and more recently in the not-for-profit sector. I am currently employed as a Digital Content Manager at the Climate Council, a not-for-profit organisation that aims to communicate independent and accurate information on climate change to the Australian public. I work in a multimedia role focused on communicating climate change in an internet-friendly way: breaking down complex science and policy issues into digestible content. I am responsible for social media content development, digital strategy, blogging, web publishing and content optimisation. Prior to the Climate Council I worked as a Social Media Specialist at CHOICE, Australia’s largest consumer advocacy organisation. Before I moved into the not-for-profit sector I worked in broader digital roles in advertising agencies, most recently as a Senior Account Manager at global creative agency DDB. I managed the strategic planning, creative development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns for a range of FMCG, retail and telecommunications clients including Telstra, Devondale and Treasury Wine Estates.
