Lisa Fennis

ACTING DIRECTOR, SYDNEY PEACE FOUNDATION

Lisa coordinates the Electoral Integrity Project at the Universities of Sydney and Harvard, which compares the quality of elections across the world and produces globally recognized publications on the subject. Before this she was responsible for the Sydney Peace Prize program at the Sydney Peace Foundation, which each year brings one of the world’s most effective peacemakers to Australia. She has remained active as a board member and will soon start as the Foundation’s Director. Prior to coming to Australia, Lisa worked on transitional justice programs for the United Nations Institute for Training and Research and a local research and advocacy organisation in Cape Town, South Africa. Lisa has a MSc in conflict resolution and peacebuilding from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) and a BA in European studies and public administration from the University of The Hague (The Netherlands).
