Madeleine is from Ōtautahi, spent six years in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, and moved to Tāmaki Makaurau late last year. Madeleine works as ActionStation’s Whānau Wellbeing Campaigner focusing on decarceration and ending sexual violence. She is passionate about values driven, open, people powered campaigning that combines digital and community organising to make our society more compassionate, empathetic, and just. Before ActionStation Madeleine worked with Greenpeace, the union movement, and Thursdays In Black. She like riding bikes, the ocean, pop music, and NZ birds.
