Marc Slade

SENIOR PROGRAMME MANAGER, COMMUNITY HOUSING AOTEAROA

Marc has a background in social housing and conservation. He has worked in the UK and New Zealand for social housing organisations and conservation NGOs in policy and management roles. He has also worked in central and local government and ran his own policy and strategy consultancy for 11 years. Marc is passionate about social and environmental justice and advocating for social change to see better outcomes for people and the environment. He has a degree in Housing Studies from Sheffield Hallam University, a Diploma in Management Studies from Huddersfield University Business School and a certificate in Ecological Restoration from Victoria University of Wellington. In his spare time he volunteers for a number of conservation charities and enjoys running, tramping and
cycling.
