Shane Cuckow

Shane manages digital programs at the Australian Marine Conservation Society, driving strategy for leading campaigns such as Fight For Our Reef and Stop Adani. After completing a Bachelor of Social Science, his early career was spent as a youth worker and a community advocate – supporting homeless young people, co-convening Gay & Lesbian Equality (WA), and later working on nationwide online mental health initiatives at ReachOut.com. A self-confessed technology tragic, Shane has always been keenly interested in how new technologies and online tools can be leveraged to offer people real opportunities to make the world a better place.
