IMPACT PRODUCER, ABC FACTUAL AND ENTERTAINMENT DEPARTMENT

Teri’s career has spanned almost 20 years across both the film industry and the not-for-profit sector. In the not-for-profit sector Teri has worked in communications, advocacy, strategy and fundraising roles for organisations including Greenpeace, the Medical Association for the Prevention of War, Jubilee Australia and the Council for International Development. She spent almost five years working with Screen Australia, first managing the agency’s communications and then in her final year with Screen Australia managing the agency’s feature film distribution program. She has also worked with boutique distributors running national marketing and publicity campaigns for social change feature documentaries and has co-distributed two feature films. Most recently, Teri was an impact producer with Media Stockade, a production company specialising in documentary storytelling and impact campaigns where she led the company’s impact campaign consultancy. She also recently worked as a freelance impact producer with NITV and on Larissa Behrendt’s feature documentary After The Apology. Teri is currently an impact producer at the ABC in the Factual and Entertainment department leading social impact campaigns on national conversation programs such as War on Waste series 2 and Don’t Stop The Music.
