Social Justice Officer, Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania

Tim is the Social Justice Officer at the Uniting Church in Vic/Tas Synod's Justice and International Mission Cluster (JIM). The JIM cluster works with congregations and social justice networks to shift and shape public policy towards a fair and just world through community engagement. Currently, the cluster focuses on climate change, refugees and people seeking asylum as well as issues faced by First Peoples. Previously, Tim was a Project Coordinator for a community-building project using narrative therapy and audio-visual art to address trauma within the regional SA Barngarla Indigenous community. He was also a board director and treasure for the Asbestos Disease Society of South Australia. Tim also has a background in Community Broadcast Radio.
