ELLEN BICKNELL

Campaigns Officer, RMIT Student Union

Ellen is a former lawyer whose career spans across legislative policy, human rights, workplace relations and Cabinet and Executive Council governance. In 2016, Ellen retrained as a disability support worker. Since then, they have worked in settings as varied as primary schools, public policy research and equitable learning services for tertiary education. They are now enjoying managing student union policy and campaigns, working across a range of portfolios including sustainability, queer and Indigenous departments.
