Executive Officer, Samaritans

Emma’s role at Samaritans sees her working closely with the CEO on advocacy, governance and strategy. Emma spends a lot of her time researching and exploring some of the challenges that the people supported by Samaritans face and her advocacy work spans many of today’s important social issues. Emma is also the Vice Chairperson for Hunter Homeless Connect Inc (HHC). Emma’s background is in corporate governance and secretariat support for boards and executives. She has always had a passionate interest in human and animal rights so has spent most of her career with organisations where she can support causes that she cares about.
