Julia grew up in Canberra, studying Political Science and Gender studies at ANU, while working in the union and environment sector. Moving to Melbourne to write her Honours thesis on the ‘Your Rights at Work’ campaign, she went on to study Masters of Public Policy at the University of Melbourne, while working in government communications and political adviser roles. She now works at Bank Australia, in communications and corporate social responsibility. .
