POLICY TEAM, DEMOCRACY IN COLOUR

Rama currently is part of the policy team for Democracy in Colour and is a PhD candidate in the field of critical community psychology. He is passionate about working towards racial justice and understands the importance of structural change to support these goals. His research interests lie in the ways individuals and communities develop strategies to navigate and resist racialisation and structural and institutional racisms; identity and belonging within the Australian context; and creative practice as community pedagogy and a mechanism for social change.
