POLICY AND CAMPAIGNS ADVISER, CHOICE

Sarah Agar has worked as a Policy & Campaigns Advisor at CHOICE since July 2014. Sarah has previously conducted investigations into unfair contract terms and competition law in the online sector as a Project Officer at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, worked on litigation involving organic farming certification for Slater & Gordon, and conducted research into misleading and deceptive conduct as the Senior Associate to the Judge in Charge of the Commercial List at the Victorian County Court. Sarah has a passion for consumer law and advocacy, demonstrated by her commitment to voluntary legal roles with community legal centres and law firms, including the Welfare Rights Centre, the Roma Mitchell Community Centre and Slater & Gordon’s pro bono team. Sarah has degrees in Law and Environmental Studies, and is a qualified Australian lawyer.
