DONOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM MANAGER, AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

Verity started off wanting to be a political lobbyist however soon realised that her calling was was not the corridors of power but the glamorous world of not-for-profits. She’s spent the last 10 years working with charities large and small developing their fundraising strategy and communications. Originally from the UK, Verity worked in-house with ON Agency on clients like Cancer Research UK, Blue Cross and International Animal Rescue. Four years ago she came to Australia to work for Amnesty International. Her role is to manage the Development Fundraising Team, responsible for increasing income from financial supporters through online, mail, telemarketing and everything in between.
