Timothy Read

MASTERS STUDENT, UNIVERSITY OF NEWCASTLE

Tim is currently working on a Friends of the Earth campaign to raise awareness of the breaching of planetary boundaries. He is studying for a Masters of Social Change and community development focusing on building resilience in social/ecological systems. Tim worked for ten years (most recently as regional manager) with Trust for Nature (Victoria) protecting endangered biodiversity on private lands. Tim is active in climate change activism, action for the rights of nature and fighting for a better deal for Aboriginal people.
