EXECUTIVE OFFICER, MEDICAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE PREVENTION OF WAR

Elise West is the Executive Officer of Medical Association for Prevention of War (MAPW). MAPW founded the Nobel Peace Prize-winning International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, and educates and advocates for disarmament and demilitarisation. Elise’s background is in media and communications. She worked with women’s groups and media organisations in Northern Ireland, and spent eight years in Latin America producing stories for film and television.
