Janine Anne Bridgeman

ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT CAMPAIGNS, POLICY AND COMMUNICATIONS, PUBLIC SERVICE ASSOCIATION

Janine works for the PSA (Public Service Association). She is the Admin Support for our Communications, Policy and Campaigns Team.Janine has been in the role for approx. 1 year and prior to that was working for the Ministry of Social Development. She has a broad understanding of the Ministry of Social Development, having worked not only for the Ministry but with advocate groups who supported the Ministry clients. As a result she has a good understanding of how/why the decisions are made but the impacts that they can have on the people who are seeking help from the Government. In the last year as Campaign support she was fortunate enough to take on a number of projects bigger than Admin duties within our current campaign Stand Together. These have included planning and implementing the launch of our campaign, surveys, and creating member engagement. Throughout it all her focus is to ensure that members voices are heard as this is their campaign. She’s enjoyed being part of implementing these projects despite their being someone else’s plans. Janine is really interested to learn how to create the strategic thinking and planning behind Campaigns.
