Jessica Smith
GRANTS MANAGER/ACTING INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS MANAGER, TEAR FUND NZ
Jessica works for TEAR Fund New Zealand as a Grants Manager and has always wanted to work in international development. Her professional background is in government and not for profit sector working with partners in developing countries and she holds an MSc in Development Studies. Her work leads her to tackling issues such as women’s rights, resilience, advocacy, the effects of climate change and community organisation and she is particularly passionate about tackling inequality and structural change. She also volunteers for the Auckland Resettled (formerly Refugee) Community Coalition in developing fundraising capacity.
