Kate Day
ADVOCACY ADVISER, WELLINGTON ANGLICAN CHURCH
Kate Day is a researcher and campaigner driven to working towards social and environmental justice. Her first ‘proper’ job was with Anglican Advocacy in Christchurch, campaigning on the living wage and to improve labour rights in the fishing industry. She later moved to Cambodia and conducted research for Hagar on trends in trafficking of men. These days she works for the Wellington Anglican Church coordinating their advocacy work. In other hours she volunteers for Renters United or procrastinates from a biography-writing project.
